Williamson Design Associates provided design services for the conversion of the old clinic area on the University of South Florida (USF) Health Campus into a new Student Health & Fitness Welcome Center for the USF Health Campus. This facility is now known as The WELL.
The WELL contains an 8,000 s.f. food service/gathering area and a 10,000 s.f. fitness center for the USF Health campus. The Welcome Center brings together the Student Services functions for the College of Medicine, The College of Nursing, The College of Public Health, The College of Pharmacy and the School of Physical Therapy. Part of the renovation included the creation of courtyards with shaded seating for the College of Health students and faculty to enjoy.
This project is LEED Gold Certified.
