    Williamson Design Associates (WDA) has earned a reputation as a quality design firm for the programming, planning, and design of both renovation and new construction projects. We provide Architectural design services for a variety of government, K-12, higher education, and private clients.  WDA is headquartered in Clearwater with a branch office in Boca Raton. The Marketing Coordinator position is stationed in Clearwater and supports both offices in their marketing efforts. The successful candidate will have excellent writing, verbal communication and organizational skills accompanied with a strong proficiency in InDesign and PhotoShop.  Must have excellent project & time management skills with keen attention to detail and be highly organized. Excellent writing and proof-reading skills are essential for this role. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines and assignments is key.   Responsibilities:
    • Develop and revise proposal submittals, presentations, brochures and all marketing collateral
    • Proofread and edit content developed by technical/lead staff
    • Assist Director of BD to build social networks and create social content
    • Regular updates to WDA web page
    • Develop graphics to support proposal submittal and interview material
    • Maintain and update organized pursuit file structure
    • Coordinate project photography and organize photo/image filing system
    • Maintain project database
    • Develop and submit award applications
       Minimum Qualifications:​
    • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign & Photoshop), MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & Power Point) is required
    • Experience interpreting request for proposals (RFP’s), request for qualifications (RFQ’s) and coordinating proposals for timely and accurate submission
    • Must be detail-oriented, organized, have excellent verbal/written skills, possess strong planning skills, be a self-starter who also takes direction well, and possess the ability to communicate effectively with our internal and external team while meeting deadlines
    • Knowledgeable of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
    • Experience with WordPress web page content management system a plus
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working within the A/E/C industry is required

    Williamson Design Associates (WDA) is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team in sunny Clearwater, Florida. We are a small firm of dedicated professionals with diverse backgrounds who come together to design and build spaces that meet the needs of our clients, but that also seek to make everyone that encounters our work have a better day. We would like to add a talented individual to our team to help with production and project development. This is an entry-level position, but you’ll get a wide range of experience and opportunity, from design to field observation to client presentations.   How Will Your Days Be Spent
    • Working in a fun, relaxed environment in our new studio in Clearwater.
    • Helping project teams in all phases of our work, from schematics all the way through field observations during construction.
    • Preparing presentation drawings and models – we use Revit and Lumion, but experience with any rendering software is a plus.
    • Completing design and construction documents on schedule and within budget – we mainly use Revit for our construction documents, so experience with (or a strong willingness to learn) Revit is important.
    • Participating in peer reviews of projects at various phases for a variety of projects in the office. Design is collaborative!
    • Helping our team develop solutions and working directly with staff in house and outside consultants to implement those solutions.
    • Participating in client presentations and/or meetings.
    • Working with experienced architects and designers to complete requirements for registration.
      What You Bring to this Role Experience:
    • Minimum one to three years architectural experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Experience with one of WDA's market segments – K-12 Educational, Higher Ed, and Civic (courthouses, libraries, etc.) – preferred but not required.
    • Portfolio that demonstrates a high level of skill in design thinking and presentation media required. We want to see your work!
    Education:
    1. Professional degree in architecture required.
    2. Professional registration is not required, but the ideal candidate is working toward registration.

    Williamson Design Associates is looking for a graduate engineer with an emphasis on structural design to work closely with our team of architects and engineers to provide excellent support and leadership with the design of our projects.  We are seeking a motivated individual who wants to work in a collaborative office environment on educational and public-works type projects.   Responsibilities will include:
    • Work closely with the Lead Engineer and architectural team in project development
    • Assist team with structural analysis and design, drawings, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, reports, and other project deliverables
    • Perform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel, masonry, and timber for various size buildings
    • Prepare technical studies and reports
    • Assist with construction administration tasks
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering or related field required
    • Minimum years of working experience: 0-5 years
    • Licenses required: Engineer-In-Training
    • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred
    • Experience with REVIT and AutoCAD is preferred
    • Working knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD, ETABS, RAM, Mathcad, Tekla Tedds is preferred
