WDA worked with Pasco County Libraries to study, re-imagine, and renovate their current facilities. Since its opening in 1991, the New River Branch Library has had little change in program spaces, furniture, and equipment. WDA worked closely with the Pasco County Libraries Committee of Regional Directors in the redevelopment of the interior spaces to meet their current
needs. The study and current renovation project include the following:
- Expanded and enclosed Children’s area
- Group study rooms
- Teen and “Tween” areas
- Enhanced technology
- Shelving/Collection reduction
- Various seating areas
- Flexible, adaptive service areas
- Community meeting space
- Vending space
