WDA was retained to work with Pasco County Libraries to study their existing facilities to include recommendations and cost
estimates on how to transform the existing libraries into learning centers adaptable to the needs of the local community. Since
it’s opening in 1987, the Centennial Park Library has outgrown its viability. WDA worked closely with the Pasco County Libraries
committee to redevelop the interior space to meet current and future needs. The resulting study and current renovation project
include the following:
• Building expansion – community maker space
• Children’s area
• Teen’s and “Tweens” area
• Group study rooms
• Enhanced technology
• Shelving/Collection reduction
• Various seating areas
• Meeting space
• Flexible, adaptable service areas
• Vending space
