Calvary Chapel purchased a vacant Walmart store in Pinellas Park to develop their worship facilities. The project consisted of the design of a 1,400-seat auditorium with state-of-the-art audio and visual systems. The existing roof structure was raised, and some columns were eliminated in a portion of the auditorium to improve the acoustics and sight lines to the main platform. The project also consisted of the design of a multipurpose chapel and gathering spaces for the Children’s, Jr. High, and Sr. High ministries.
