City of Parkland
7,200 GSF renovation
The Parkland Library opened in 2003 with most of the space dedicated to direct delivery of library services with a balance of conference and meeting spaces. Growth and changing demographics in the City of Parkland and its surrounding areasmade it necessary to provide more library services for the community as a whole.
Williamson Design Associates designed new Children’s Wing addition to the existing Main Library. The new Children’s Wing includes space for children’s services a multipurpose rooms capable of running meetings simultaneously. A connector was developed to support a small café and gallery space.
