Our study entailed the review of the existing storage building of approximately 7,100 s.f adjacent to the administration building, review of the existing PSTA building of approximately 2,896 s.f., and review of the existing exterior storage yard on the south west side of the site. In addition to items stored at this site, small electronic items are stored in air- conditioned facilities around the city were also included in the study.

The City of Largo did not have a current inventory of all the items stockpiled in inventory and WDA worked to develop a photo journal of all the stored items to provide a visual inventory for use in our study.

As a result of our study, the City of Largo decided to build a new 12,500 s.f. warehouse.  WDA provided the design services for the new facility.  The facility was constructed of tilt-up concrete walls and a steel bar joist roof system.  The warehouse building contains a truck well with two dock levelers, an area for pick-up truck loading, and a ramp for forklift access.
